We are looking for a dedicated operator to join our Operations team for an on-site position in Rotterdam. The Operations team at COUNT is responsible for the end-to-end management of the supply chain, ensuring optimal cost-efficiency and effectiveness from loading to final customer delivery. By overseeing various logistics processes, maintaining records, and providing effective problem-solving solutions, the Operations team plays a crucial role in our logistical process.

Key Responsibilities

The Operator is a pivotal member of our operations team,responsible for overseeing and optimizing the execution of trades, managinglogistics, and ensuring seamless coordination with various stakeholders. TheOperator is involved monitoring and enhancing operational processes to maximizeefficiency, minimize risks, and contribute to the overall success of theorganization. General tasks and responsibilities include such as:

·        Providing oversight and leadership for theday-to-day operations, ensuring processes are executed smoothly andefficiently.

·        Issue and review spot and long-term purchaseand sales contracts basis trader recaps.

·        Coordinate the delivery planning and linkingof all purchases and sales, ensuring highest cost effectiveness andoptimization of volumes in line with the contracts. Address and resolve complexoperational issues that may arise during the delivery process

·        Liaise with Finance and Credit at COUNT onthe financial instruments required, such as letter of credit, credit insurance,storage warrants and/or any other financial requirement

·        Maintain contact with tank stakeholders,ensuring product quality and availability when needed, providing an up-to-dateinventory overview and monthly forecast for next product deliveries from and totank.

·        Taking the lead in case of transport damage,product contaminations or other product insurance related matters

·        Correct and timely input of data and detailsrelated to trade deals, barge movements, Q&Q reports and event dates intoCOUNT's CTRM systems or other relevant spreadsheets

·        Ensure that all operational activities adhereto regulatory requirements and industry standards.

 

Required skills and experience

Knowledge and expertise:  

·        Bachelor’s degree or higher

·        +/- 5 years or more relevant work experience

·        Residingin Rotterdam or close surrounding

·        Extensive experience within MS Office &ERP software

·        Fluent in English language, both verbally andin writing.

·        knowledge of industry specific INCO Termsregulations

Skills:

·        Capable of thriving independently andcollaboratively in a team.

·        Adept at managing multiple projectssimultaneously.

·        Able to deal with stress/unpredictablesituations

·        Demonstrate versatility, ability toprioritize and adapt to situations and resolve problems quickly.
