Junior Power Analyst
We are looking for exceptional junior talent with strong analytical ability, curiosity, and technical capability to work directly alongside traders in a fast-moving commercial environment. This is not a traditional reporting or operations role. You will be expected to think critically, work with complex datasets, challenge assumptions, and help develop insights that contribute directly to trading performance.
What You’ll Do
- Analyse European power markets, pricing behaviour, and market fundamentals
- Build tools, datasets, and models that support trading decisions
- Work with large volumes of market and transactional data
- Identify inefficiencies, patterns, and opportunities using quantitative analysis
- Develop automation and improve internal trading infrastructure
- Support traders with real-time analysis and decision support
- Continuously improve workflows using modern coding and analytical practices
What We’re Looking For
- Highly analytical and intellectually curious mindset
- Strong quantitative or technical academic background
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems independently
- Programming capability in Python, SQL, or similar languages
- Genuine interest in energy markets, trading, data, and technology
- Comfortable working in a high-performance and fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt under pressure

Previous energy market experienceis valuable.
